Hm. Have pretty much forgotten about my account on here... So weird to think that my last journal entry here was written whilst I was still applying to uni...! For any of you who care, I don't think I'll be putting any new photos up any time soon. Think of it as an extremely extended hiatus, as I think I *will* be back. Sometime.

Applying to American Universities SUCKS. What's up with having a different application for every university - except for Common App Unis, but those need supplements. And the application fees! So expensive! Never mind that the next four years will completely suck my parents dry. And WITHIN each application, there are so many questions/essays to do! Compare to UK unis: You use ONE online application form, you do ONE personal statement and pay a single fee of US$36 for ALL SIX universities (number of unis you can apply to is capped at 6). Compare to HK unis: ONE personal statement Compare to Aus unis: You DON'T NEED ANYTHING. Just your grade
